The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed a joint memorandum of understanding with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, as part of the activities of the "Cityscape Global 2025" exhibition, which is being hosted by the city of Riyadh during the period from November 17 to 20, with broad local and international participation in the real estate and housing development sector. .

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of real estate development, scientific research, and the exchange of academic and technical expertise, contributing to the integration of academic knowledge and applied practices in the fields of housing and urban planning, and supporting the path of sustainable urban development within the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. .

The memorandum also seeks to build a qualitative partnership between the two parties to exchange studies and data specializing in real estate development, and to activate cooperation in preparing joint research and applied studies that serve the housing and urban development system, in addition to benefiting from the university's academic and research capabilities in developing innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency of housing and urban projects in various regions of the Kingdom. .

The memorandum includes cooperation in utilizing the "Real Estate Stimulus" initiative overseen by the ministry to enable the university to present its development projects through the initiative's electronic platform, thus contributing to reaching the largest possible number of real estate developers and investment entities, and opening new horizons for the academic sector to participate in urban and economic development. .

The memorandum also includes the provision of technical and procedural support by the ministry in the real estate development journey, sharing expertise in regulatory and operational aspects, in addition to holding workshops and periodic meetings to discuss the challenges of the real estate sector and submit improvement proposals that contribute to developing the investment environment and raising the quality of university and urban projects. .
