Procedures
Register on the Value Added Tax (VAT) platform via the website.
The citizen accesses the VAT portal for first homes and electronically declares that they do not own a home to obtain a certificate confirming the state's coverage of VAT.
Print the eligibility certificate and give it to the seller.
The seller completes the purchase procedures directly with the citizen after receiving the eligibility certificate. In this case, the seller does not collect the tax from the citizen, up to a maximum purchase price of 850,000 Riyals.
