If a taxable seller (whether a company or individual) sells a residential unit to a beneficiary for whom the state covers the first home VAT, they can access the VAT exemption platform and submit a refund application for the state to bear the VAT on behalf of the beneficiary.

Procedures
Access the (VAT Exemption Initiative) portal and log in as a seller (individual/company).
Click on the (Submit Refund Application) icon.
Fill in the refund application data.
Fill in the property details.
Fill in the bank details.
Fill in the real estate supplier's (seller's) information.
Attach a copy of the tax purchase invoice.
Attach a copy of the deed.
Attach the Zakat registration certificate.
Agree to the terms and conditions.
Submit the application.
The Ministry of Housing, represented by the VAT Administration, will review and process the application, completing the disbursement procedures if the application is complete. Otherwise, it will be returned to the applicant for amendment.
