Al-Budair inspects a number of projects in Madinah and assesses the readiness of the residential neighborhood project before handing it over to beneficiaries.

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, inspected today a number of housing projects in Madinah as part of the “Sakani” program projects. He also visited the comprehensive Sakani Center and met with the center’s staff and reviewed the services provided to beneficiaries, as part of His Excellency’s visit to the region.

Al-Budair reviewed the progress and level of completion at the Al-Jiwar project site in Al-Dar suburb and its readiness, in preparation for the handover of 560 housing units to beneficiaries. He also reviewed the construction work in the Al-Yasmin scheme. His Excellency also visited the sales headquarters of the "Zahia" residential project and reviewed the show villas and the progress of work there. The visit also included the Al-Hadaba project and reviewed the progress of work on the units allocated to beneficiaries of developmental housing. During his tour, he stressed the need to raise the level of completion in housing projects, emphasizing to real estate developers the importance of preparing all units and ensuring their safety before handing them over to beneficiaries.

During his visit to the projects, His Excellency pointed out that the Ministry is keen to provide various housing options and solutions that suit all segments, within easy and convenient procedures. He noted that the projects under construction in partnership with the private sector take into account the diversity of desires and capabilities while maintaining quality and appropriate price, in addition to the facilities and services necessary to provide an integrated lifestyle. He also noted that homeownership for Saudi families is a priority in light of the attention given to the housing sector and the unlimited support from the wise leadership, which has contributed to achieving unprecedented accomplishments at the level of the housing sector. He emphasized the continuation of the program in partnership with real estate developers in launching integrated housing projects, in addition to other housing options.

The Madinah region is home to 21 off-plan residential projects in partnership between “Sakani” and the private sector, totaling 11,429 housing units. These projects offer a variety of housing options and solutions to suit all segments of society through easy and convenient procedures, taking into account the diversity of desires and capabilities, while maintaining quality and reasonable prices. In addition, they provide the necessary facilities and services to ensure a modern and integrated lifestyle. The region also has 21 land plots that provide more than 20,000 housing units.
