His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid Al-Hogail, met with the Governor of Tokyo, Ms. Yuriko Koike, at the Tokyo City Hall, on the first day of His Excellency’s visit to Japan, the second stop on His Excellency’s Asian tour.
The two sides reviewed the two countries’ experiences in city management, the use of technology and smart solutions to improve people’s quality of life, the possibility of enhancing aspects of joint work, and benefiting from the material and human capabilities that the two friendly countries possess in a way that serves their vision of building municipal and housing sectors with a sustainable impact on providing well-being for beneficiaries.
The meeting between His Excellency Minister Al-Haqil and the Governor of Tokyo comes as part of the agenda for the first day of His Excellency’s visit to Japan, which will last for 3 days.
