The Municipal Futsal League Cup, organized by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, concluded yesterday evening at the Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University Sports Hall in Riyadh.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqil, crowned the Eastern Province Municipality team with the championship title after they achieved first place by winning the final match against the Riyadh Municipality team with a score of three goals to one, in a match attended by a number of dignitaries and leaders in the system.
Al-Haqil also honored the Riyadh Municipality team for achieving second place, while the Real Estate Development Fund won the Fair Play Award. As for the individual awards, Riyadh Municipality goalkeeper Mutaib Al-Dosari was crowned with the Best Goalkeeper Award in the tournament, Mansour Al-Zahrani from Riyadh Municipality won the Best Player Award in the tournament, while the Eastern Municipality player Abdullah Maghribi won the Top Scorer Award in the tournament.
Al-Haqil also honored the gold sponsors of the tournament, namely the gold sponsor Arab Bank, represented by the head of the Retail Banking Group, Khaled Al-Rashed, Al-Faisaly Club, represented by the Chairman of the Board, Fahd Al-Mudlej,STC Company , represented by the General Manager of Central Government Sales, Ibrahim Al-Zamil, andALMOND Company , represented by the General Manager, Mahmoud Al-Obaid.
