His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, will inaugurate the second edition of the Maskan Real Estate Exhibition, which will be held from May 25 to 27, under the auspices of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the General Authority for Real Estate. The city of Riyadh will witness the launch of the second edition of the exhibition and its accompanying events, with the participation of a number of government agencies, banks, and real estate financing and development companies.
The exhibition aims to provide a complete journey for the beneficiary to own his home by facilitating communication with developers and financing entities and providing them with the necessary consultations, in addition to holding workshops, launching real estate investment funds, and showcasing the most important real estate projects of developers, financing opportunities, and updates in modern building technologies and methods in the field of construction and building, and the latest technologies that serve beneficiaries seeking housing from Saudi families and visitors, with the aim of increasing the real estate supply and raising the rate of residential ownership.
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing is participating in its roles to facilitate first home ownership for Saudi families, in addition to showcasing its various services and efforts in regulating the real estate sector through its programs and initiatives, which contribute to developing the sector and attracting investment in it.
The General Authority for Real Estate is participating to review its efforts in the real estate registry, which will begin field work in the middle of Shawwal, in addition to organizing the non-governmental real estate sector, spreading awareness of the sector’s systems and activities, raising the efficiency of its performance, maintaining its sustainability, serving partners, and raising the level of transparency of the sector in implementation of the comprehensive strategy for the real estate sector, and the mechanism for obtaining a license.
The exhibition will highlight new residential projects and financing opportunities offered by participating entities. It will also review the latest developments in modern building technologies and methods in the field of construction and building, and the latest technological advancements in terms of speed of execution and quality, with the aim of increasing the real estate supply and raising the rate of homeownership for Saudi families.
It is worth noting that the exhibition and its accompanying events and new launches come as an extension of the continuous efforts made by the sector’s partners to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs - to raise the rate of homeownership to 70%. It also contributes to bringing together relevant entities and programs under one roof with the aim of developing the real estate sector, offering the best housing and financing solutions, and contributing to achieving a distinguished and integrated housing experience for Saudi families.
