Al-Hogail inspects a number of developmental projects in Al-Qassim and inaugurates the Control and Monitoring Center in the Province

His Excellency Minister of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail inspected a number of developmental projects being implemented by Qassim Municipality. The purpose of the visit was to review the progress of the projects and specifically observe the urban improvement project in the cities and governorates of the Province. Additionally, several municipal projects were inaugurated in Al-Qassim.

During the visit, Al-Hogail met with His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Qassim Province. The meeting discussed the latest updates on the developmental plans in the municipal and housing sectors, in line with MOMRAH’s strategy.

Al-Hogail also held meetings with the leaders of Qassim Municipality, and was briefed on the progress of the project to address visual distortions in infrastructure and urban fabric. The project aims to enhance the quality of services provided, improve the urban landscape, and enhance the quality of life in the cities and governorates of Al-Qassim Province.

Furthermore, the Minister inaugurated the Control and Monitoring Center in the Province, and was introduced to advanced monitoring systems and technologies that enable remote control, operation, and management of stations, emergency and crisis management, and monitoring the efficiency of each site's operations.

Al-Hogail visited Makkah Square in Buraidah City to observe the progress of the project to remove visual distortions and improve the urban landscape in the square. He also visited the stormwater drainage through horizontal directional drilling project from Al-Nuqaa Lakes to Al-Wadi, with a total cost exceeding SAR 598 million. The project serves 14 neighborhoods in Buraidah City, and its progress has exceeded 88%.

It is worth mentioning that the visit of the Minister to the Al-Qassim Province is part of a series of visits aimed at monitoring the projects, initiatives, and programs of MOMRAH in the municipal and housing sectors, and staying informed about the progress of developmental and improvement projects.
