The Cabinet grants the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing the authority to determine the basis for calculating municipal license issuance fees.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs - may God protect them - on the occasion of the issuance of the Cabinet’s decision to grant the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing the authority to determine the basis for calculating municipal license issuance fees.
Al-Haqil confirmed that the decision includes the fees stipulated in the municipal services fees schedule on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, provided that it does not exceed the maximum limit stipulated in the schedule.
His Excellency pointed out that the decision aims to facilitate business practices for economic activities, and is expected to have a positive impact on the practice of seasonal activities and events, and to contribute to the development of the Kingdom’s cities and the quality of life for its residents.
