The Ejar Network announced the launch of a package of improvements to the rental index on the Sakani platform, which includes comparing average rental values of units in a group of neighborhoods, identifying price ranges for residential units, and searching for neighborhoods that contain residential units in a price range specified by the beneficiary, within the framework of enhancing the sustainability of the real estate market and raising its efficiency in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.

The “Ejar” network explained in a statement today that the new development of the rental index service on the Sakani platform aims to increase transparency and regulation in the residential and commercial rental sector, and contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the real estate sector and stimulating investment in it, by providing new opportunities based on clear and accurate indicators, based on the results of research through the rental index, and enabling beneficiaries in all regions of the Kingdom to know the average rent of properties, with the aim of developing the real estate sector and contributing to raising its efficiency.

The network added: “Through the new development of the rental index, it is possible to review the number of rental transactions on residential and commercial units in the specified neighborhood during the specified period, the average rental values, clarify the price range of residential transactions, review them through a graph, and access the list of accredited real estate brokers in the neighborhood.”

The new development also added the “Comparison” feature, which enables the beneficiary to compare the average rental values of residential units in more than one neighborhood in one city, identify their locations and view them through the map, and review the results through a graph, and the “Smart Search” feature, which allows beneficiaries to specify the required price range for residential units in a particular city, and through it, neighborhoods and their locations can be viewed within the price range specified by the beneficiary.

This development of the rental index comes as a reinforcement of the first phase and its objectives in raising the efficiency of the real estate rental sector in the Kingdom, and the level of its transparency, through a number of services targeting the landlord, the tenant, the real estate broker and investors, and as an extension of a number of services launched by the Ejar Network, to improve and elevate the rental environment in the Kingdom, in a way that meets the needs of citizens and beneficiaries and contributes to strengthening the regulatory role of the network.
