"Ejar": Adding 4 new cities to the "Rental Index"

The electronic rental services network “Ejar” announced the addition of 4 new cities to the “Rental Index” service, within the reports and data issued by the network in integration with the Sakani platform, namely (Buraidah, Tabuk, Hail and Jazan), so that the total number of cities included in the index becomes (10) cities.
The rental index service aims to enable the beneficiary to search for the appropriate option that suits his needs, and to facilitate search operations within the cities and neighborhoods covered by the service during periods specified by the beneficiary. The four new cities (Buraidah, Tabuk, Hail, and Jizan) are added to the previous 6 cities included in the rental index, which are (Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Dammam, Madinah, and Khobar).
The rental index began issuing its monthly reports last March, and issued its second report this April for more than 185,000 residential and commercial rental transactions, with the city of Riyadh topping the report in both the residential and commercial sectors. Its upcoming reports are expected to include data on rental values for the units covered by the index.
Beneficiaries can view the service and its advantages through the Sakani platform and access the "Reports and Data" page https://sakani.sa/reports-and-data and search using results filtering or using interactive maps.
It is noted that the rental index aims to raise the efficiency and transparency of the real estate rental sector in the Kingdom, by setting indicators to measure the average rental price of residential units, the average metric price of commercial units, and the number of transactions, based on data of rental contracts documented in the Ejar network since 2019 and updated periodically, in order to give a clear detail about the rise and fall of rental contract values and transactions during the period specified by the beneficiary.
