Today, His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, launched the municipal store via the digital city platform “Baladi” at the Digital Government Authority Conference, which included city service providers from engineering offices and other municipal service providers, with the aim of enhancing the principle of trust for the clients of these entities by informing them of the experiences of beneficiaries, their opinions on the level of service with an evaluation of the facility implementing it, in order to raise the level of quality of life in cities within the Ministry’s efforts to improve the quality of municipal services.
The store will provide a number of municipal services, which are (authorization of commercial licenses, authorization of group housing services, and authorization of construction services), provided that these services are provided through a number of partners with the secretariats, municipalities, relevant government agencies, and approved city service providers from the private sector.
The store will contribute to creating a different experience by enabling citizens and residents to obtain services at any time and from any place in an innovative and advanced way, so that they can submit a request to implement the service they want at all existing establishments to choose the offer that suits their aspirations and financial budget. After agreeing on all the terms between the two parties, the service provider must obtain authorization from the customer for whom the service will be implemented.
It is worth mentioning that the store offers accredited engineering offices in “Baladi” and other service providers multiple opportunities to expand their business and provide their services to the largest segment of customers, in order to ensure their continuity in the labor market, achieve financial sustainability for their establishments and create an attractive competitive environment in.
