As part of its participation in the LEAP 2023 conference, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing launched the “Sakani Metaverse” project, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
The head of the Solutions Sector at the National Housing Company, Engineer Rayan bin Abdullah Al-Aql Al-Aql, explained that “Sakani Metaverse” is a new window for expanding the areas of service to beneficiaries and improving their experience in home ownership without the need for field visits, as the National Housing Company worked on developing it, using emerging technologies, keeping pace with global trends.
He added: “My Housing Metaverse is an interactive technology that will contribute to raising the quality of life, by allowing beneficiaries to view the various housing options, and enabling them to simulate reality in viewing owners’ associations and rental offers. It will also provide new horizons for cooperation and investment with partners from real estate developers, real estate brokers, and service providers at various levels and in different areas of coverage, so that we can serve our beneficiaries, whose number exceeds (6) million beneficiaries in the various real estate platforms operated by the National Housing Company.
Al-Aql emphasized that "Sakani Metaverse" will contribute to exploring innovative and marketing opportunities for residential products and increasing the quality of life by creating service channels that transcend the time and geographical barrier, targeting and reaching the customer. It will serve beneficiaries in "owners' associations" concerned with enhancing the quality of life of the community in residential neighborhoods and suburbs with common areas, through interactive technology that facilitates the citizen's service and experience in a virtual world that includes the services of the owners' association, which contributes to driving the digital transformation and improving the work of the real estate sector in the Kingdom. It will also facilitate the beneficiary's experience during his virtual visit to the comprehensive Sakani Center, which includes a group of developers, real estate consultants and financing entities in one place, to facilitate the beneficiary's journey in owning a home through the Sakani platform, which leads to an increase in demand for using the distinctive experience that the service will provide.
It is worth noting that the “LEAP 2023” conference is the largest technical conference of its kind in the world, and this year it is being held under the slogan “Towards New Horizons”, from February 6 to 9 in Riyadh, embodying the Kingdom’s ambitions and future vision at the international level, and an important step towards consolidating its presence on the global technological map and enhancing its position as a leading technical center linking the three continents.
