The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Taif Municipality, has strengthened its field preparations to serve the pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, through an operational system that includes cleaning work, preparing facilities, maintaining lighting, and supporting municipal and service sites on Hajj routes and at reception and crossing points.

The municipality has mobilized more than 2,300 workers, more than 500 pieces of equipment and machinery, in addition to about 30,000 cleaning units, to support operational work in sites that witness high traffic during the season, in order to ensure the continuity of municipal services and raise the level of field readiness.

More than 500 human resources personnel, along with more than two thousand male and female volunteers, are participating in the implementation of the work to contribute to serving the pilgrims arriving through Taif International Airport, the two Miqats of Qarn Al-Manazil in Al-Sail Al-Kabeer and Wadi Mahram in Al-Hada, and the security sorting center in Al-Bahita.

The preparations included the maintenance of more than a thousand lighting poles, and the preparation of more than 100 toilets on the Hajj routes and in the security sorting center in Al-Bahita, as an extension of integrated work that the Taif Municipality is harnessing to raise the efficiency of facilities and enhance the quality of municipal services provided to the guests of God.

These efforts complement the municipal preparations announced by the Ministry in Makkah, the Holy Sites, and Madinah, within an integrated operational plan that extends across Hajj routes, crossing points, and vital sites, enhancing the integration of field readiness and raising the efficiency of services provided to the pilgrims throughout their journey until their arrival at the Holy Sites.
