The Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing concluded its participation in the second edition of the Gulf Housing Week, hosted by the Qatari capital Doha and attended by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries May 13-16. The event aimed to discuss the challenges and opportunities for developing sustainable urban communities.
MOMRAH showcased its efforts in the development and improvement of the housing sector through an accompanying exhibition during the Gulf Housing Week. The interactive booth presented the residential suburb projects implemented by the National Housing Company, as well as the advanced services provided by the upgraded version of the "Baladi" application. Additionally, MOMRAH introduced the Kingdom's efforts in catalyzing local and international investments and attracting major real estate companies and developers.
Abdulrahman Altawil, the Deputy Minister of Residential Supply Stimulus and Real Estate Development, participated in a panel discussion with senior housing officials, where he highlighted Saudi Arabia's efforts in urbanizing housing projects. This included integrated residential suburbs implemented in various regions of the kingdom, designed to meet the highest standards of quality of life and urbanization.
During their participation in the Gulf Housing Week, MOMRAH presented three workshops that examined important housing topics. These included the application of value engineering in innovation and design, cost reduction while maintaining housing quality through modern techniques, and enhancing the identity and urban character of cities.
