More than 300,000 beneficiaries of the "Municipality and Housing" digital platforms during September 2022

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing’s digital platforms recorded serving more than 300,000 beneficiaries, with the “Sakani” digital platforms achieving a 6% increase in the percentage of beneficiaries during September compared to August 2022, with a total number of more than 153,000 beneficiaries, while the number of beneficiaries of the “Baladi” platforms and services reached more than 154,000 beneficiaries.

The Unified Contact Center for Beneficiary Care for the Sakani Program (199090) answered more than 115,000 calls with a daily average exceeding 3,837 calls, to inquire about the program’s services, which include immediate eligibility, booking and viewing residential units and lands, and price offers from financing entities provided by “Sakani”, within the framework of supporting beneficiaries and contributing to raising the rate of homeownership for Saudi families in line with the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – and the Unified Contact Center for Customer Care for Baladi (199040) recorded more than 133,000 calls with a daily average exceeding 4,438 calls.

The Beneficiary Care account for the Sakani program on Twitter received 25,000 inquiries from citizens last month, asking about the housing options and solutions it offers, including subsidized loans for purchasing ready-made and under-construction housing units, self-build options, and residential land options. This is part of the program's efforts to provide services and solutions that facilitate homeownership for Saudi families. The Customer Care account for the Baladi platform on Twitter also responded during September to more than 21,000 inquiries about all the municipal services provided by the platform. The Baladi platform application recorded 687,000 visits and more than 98,000 downloads, while the Sakani platform application recorded more than 108,000 downloads during the same month.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing is undergoing a digital transformation in all areas, in order to enhance digital transformation and achieve the Ministry’s strategic objectives in the municipal and housing sectors, in accordance with a sustainable digital system that aims to reach leading services for smart and innovative digital cities that provide a prosperous life for customers, develop new business models and innovative customer journeys, enable investment opportunities from data and services, raise the level of customer satisfaction and participation, as well as provide unified and reliable data to improve the flexibility and efficiency of the digital system.
