The “Baladi” platform launched (12) surveys through the interactive portal to gather feedback from citizens, residents, and the business sector on the services, projects, and initiatives of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, in order to provide the highest level of transparency and continuous improvement to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The surveys, which garnered the participation of more than 174,000 people, aim to improve the level of municipal services provided to all citizens, residents, and the business sector in the Kingdom, raise the quality of roads, improve the urban landscape in cities, enhance community participation, increase the level of cleanliness in cities, and improve the level of infrastructure services and public facilities.
The surveys included a questionnaire to find out about (residents’ satisfaction with the quality of roads in cities, residents’ opinions about municipal services in the Kingdom’s cities, the cleanliness of cities in the Kingdom, customers’ satisfaction with the “Baladi” platform, the level of customer satisfaction with establishment classification services, satisfaction with the customer services provided to them, residents’ opinions about the urban landscape, measuring customer satisfaction with infrastructure services and public facilities, residents’ satisfaction with food safety in restaurants, residents’ satisfaction with public health pest control, and customers’ (establishment owners’) satisfaction with municipal requirements).
Through surveys, the “Baladi” platform seeks to enhance transparency and spread the culture of surveying among the public, government agencies, and the private sector. Based on the importance of everyone’s participation in developing municipal and housing sector services, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing is keen to provide the best municipal services to citizens, residents, and establishments, in order to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to make the Kingdom one of the ten most competitive countries globally.
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing had previously launched (25) surveys on projects, initiatives and services provided in cities, in which (708,670) citizens and clients participated.
