"أمانات المناطق" تحذر من إلقاء مخلَّفات أعمال البناء في غير أماكنها المخصصة

The regional secretariats and their affiliated municipalities warned contractors and real estate owners against dumping and transporting construction waste in places other than those designated for it, stressing that dumping waste on government lands and other people’s lands exposes violators to fines, in order to reduce encroachment and transgression on state and other people’s property, in addition to improving the urban landscape, addressing visual pollution and raising the quality of life in all regions of the Kingdom.

The inspection tours aim to preserve and protect government lands and public property from encroachments, monitor contractors’ non-compliance with the temporary fencing of sites under construction, the practice of construction work such as mixing cement, ironwork, carpentry and storage outside the temporary fence, the lack of site cleanliness during and after the completion of work, the failure to remove construction and excavation waste during the construction or restoration phase, and the dumping of construction waste and other waste on other people’s lands or public places.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, in cooperation with the municipalities, aims to maintain public cleanliness, raise the level of compliance, improve the urban landscape, and address visual pollution in all regions of the Kingdom, while ensuring that paved and asphalted streets are not damaged, and committing to filling in potholes and restoring the condition to what it was after the work is completed.
