Sakani and Balady win Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2023

"Sakani" and "Balady" platforms, affiliated to Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, have won the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards for 2023 in the categories of "Online Services - Real Estate Technology" for government entities. The awards were presented by the Asian Business Review magazine.

This achievement is a result of their contribution in shaping the landscape of government services and real estate technology and their impact in facilitating the lives of citizens and communities and improving the quality of life, as affirmed by the awards committee.

"Sakani," which has surpassed over 6 million downloads on electronic devices, provides several services through its digital channels. These include a range of facilities and services such as Real Estate Advisor, obtaining certificates for real estate transaction tax for first home, obtaining quotations from financing entities, issuing electronic land contracts, and benefiting from services of engineering design, "approved contractor", electronic financing and "real estate market", as well as immediate registration and eligibility, and issuing electronic construction permits.

"Balady" offers more than 200 diverse digital services, such as interactive maps, obtaining municipal and construction permits, and other services that facilitate the needs of the municipal sector across the Kingdom. Over 3 million users have benefited from these services through the application. These services support ease of doing business and improve the quality of life in Saudi cities.

The Middle East Technology Excellence Awards are given to outstanding projects and technological innovations. Government entities, private organizations, and leading IT companies compete for these awards by providing digital products and solutions for individuals and entities across various sectors and industries.
