The Sakani program issued 10,716 electronic contracts for residential land to Saudi families benefiting from the program during the first quarter of this year, including 1,837 contracts issued in March through the Sakani electronic application, as part of its diverse housing and financing options that it provides to facilitate ownership, in line with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - to raise the percentage of Saudi families owning homes to 70% by the year 2030.

“Sakani” explained in a press statement that the land contracts issued during the month of March included 1066 lands in the Makkah region, 240 lands in the Riyadh region, 36 lands in Madinah, 102 lands in the Qassim region, in addition to 88 lands in the Eastern region, 32 residential lands in the Asir region, 46 lands within the Hail region, 7 lands in the Northern Borders region, 89 lands for “Sakani” beneficiaries in the Jazan region, 108 lands in the Najran region, 9 lands in the Al-Baha region, 9 lands in the Al-Jawf region, and 5 lands in the Tabuk region.

The program indicated that this number comes as an extension of what was previously issued in electronic contracts for lands within the plans made available by the “Sakani” website and application for families benefiting from housing support in all cities and regions of the Kingdom within easy electronic procedures, noting that the land areas reach up to 500 m2 per land, and the procedures for booking and viewing the land sites and plans can be completed through the “Sakani” program website https://sakani.sa .

“Sakani” offers a number of housing options and financing solutions to meet the desires and aspirations of families, including benefiting from the subsidized mortgage loan to purchase ready-made housing units, purchasing housing units under construction within “Sakani” projects in partnership with the private sector, in addition to benefiting from the subsidized mortgage loan for self-build for those who own residential land.

It is worth mentioning that the “Sakani” program, through its website and application, has provided a range of housing services including immediate eligibility, issuing price quotes, benefiting from the real estate advisor service, choosing model designs for self-build beneficiaries, issuing building permits electronically, and electronic financing, with the possibility of reviewing the diverse housing options for units under construction supervised by the off-plan sales or leasing committee in 115 projects that provide about 150,000 housing units, most of which are located in the major residential suburbs developed by the National Housing Company ( NHC ) in major cities.
