The “Sakani” program announced the addition of a new model engineering design for its beneficiaries in the city of Riyadh in accordance with the approved building code for Wadi Hanifa, in partnership with the private sector represented by a group of real estate developers and engineering design offices, as part of the program’s ongoing efforts to provide all solutions and services and facilitate homeownership for Saudi families electronically through the “Sakani” website and application at the link https://sakani.sa .
The program explained in a press statement today that a number of engineering designs will be added to the building code approved by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and made available through the “Sakani” website and application with the approved code within the model designs service for beneficiaries of the self-build option to enable Saudi families benefiting from “Sakani” to own their housing units according to their desires and aspirations within the approved residential neighborhoods and plans that are determined by the Commission in order to facilitate Saudi families and enable them to obtain model housing designs that take into account quality and modern methods and are compatible with the local environment and the building code in each region.
The “Sakani” website and application provides a model engineering design service that offers many diverse executive designs with high quality and competitive prices provided by national engineering offices, to provide distinctive designs that provide quality and modern building methods, and contribute to reducing the financial costs of construction, saving time and effort, improving the urban style of housing, and meeting the various needs and tastes of beneficiaries of the self-build option.
The “Sakani” website and application showcases 115 projects under construction that provide approximately 150,000 diverse units, in addition to 223 residential schemes that provide more than 180,000 plots of land, as well as many housing services, options, and diverse financing solutions, including subsidized loans for self-build, purchasing residential units under construction or ready-made units with up to 100% financing, and selecting residential land within “Sakani” schemes.
It is worth mentioning that the “Sakani” program announced that more than 225,000 Saudi families benefited during the past year 2021, including more than 186,000 families who moved into their homes. “Sakani” aims to benefit 180,000 families during 2022 from the various financing and housing options and solutions, including 130,000 families who move into their homes.
