The “Sakani” program announced that 100,830 Saudi families have benefited from all housing options and financing solutions provided by the program electronically to its beneficiaries through easy and convenient procedures since the beginning of the year until the end of last August. Meanwhile, the number of families who moved into their first home reached 117,484 Saudi families, within the framework of the program’s endeavor to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - by raising the rate of homeownership for Saudi families to 70% by 2030.
“Sakani” explained that the number of families benefiting from the options and solutions it provides to beneficiaries in the past month of August reached 13,363 Saudi families, while the number of families who moved into their first home in the same month reached 12,548 Saudi families.
“Sakani” provides new optional support packages within its solutions and options offered to Saudi families, bringing the number of housing and financing options to 9. The new packages include (the support package, the rental package, the furniture package, the self-build package, and the home renovation package). These packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions, by providing immediate non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-made housing units, under construction, and self-build, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities from banks, financing institutions, and real estate developers. He pointed out that this comes from “Sakani’s” belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diversifying financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of Saudi families owning their homes.
The Sakani website and application offer a variety of housing facilities and services, including: real estate advisor, issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates for the first home, obtaining price quotes from financing entities, issuing land contracts electronically, benefiting from engineering design services and the "approved contractor" service, electronic financing service and the "real estate market", as well as registration and immediate eligibility, and issuing building permits electronically.
