The “Sakani” program report issued this May revealed that 664,897 certificates of bearing the real estate transaction tax for the first home were issued from the beginning of the program until the end oflast April. The report also showed the growth in the number of Saudi families benefiting from the various housing and financing options and solutions that “Sakani” provides electronically to its beneficiaries through its website and application.
The report showed that 8,856 families benefited during the past month of April, while the number of families who moved into their homes reached 12,375 families,by taking advantage of the subsidized mortgage loan option to purchase ready and under-construction housing units within the “Sakani” projects, the self-build option, and the residential lands available through the “Sakani” website and application , with the aim of facilitating homeownership and raising its rate to 70% by the year 2030, according to the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - and the full report can be viewed at the link https://sakani.housing.sa/sakani-reports .
The “Sakani” report included details of 4 housing projects launched bythe “ National Housing ” in Riyadh, providing about 5,000 housing units. It also included construction updates in more than 92 projects providing more than 120,000 housing units under construction, which began to be implemented in partnership with real estate developers from the private sector in all regions and cities of the Kingdom, within 119 projects providing about 155,000 units between apartments, villas and townhouses with average prices of 750,000 riyals.
The report addressed residential lands and the development of plans, as the "Sakani" website and application allows for the reservation of lands and the issuance of their contracts electronically, within 223 residential plans that provide more than 180,000 residential lands distributed in various regions and cities of the Kingdom, and they can be viewed by visiting the electronic platform of the "Sakani" program through the link https://sakani.sa .
The report also highlighted the electronic services provided by the “Sakani” application and website, which are available easily and conveniently around the clock, starting from registration and immediate eligibility, reviewing housing options, offers from financing entities in partnership with 18 entities, immediate booking of units and lands, issuing land contracts, the real estate advisor service, “real estate market” options, model designs for self-build beneficiaries, issuing building permits electronically, the approved contractor, and other services.
