The “Sakani” program announced that 80,259 Saudi families have benefited from all housing options and financing solutions provided by the program electronically to its beneficiaries through easy and convenient procedures since the beginning of the year until the end of last June. Meanwhile, the number of families who moved into their first home reached 95,308 Saudi families, within the framework of the program’s endeavor to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - by raising the rate of homeownership for Saudi families to 70% by 2030.
“Sakani” explained that the number of families benefiting from the options and solutions it provides to beneficiaries reached 14,079 Saudi families in June, while the number of families who moved into their first home in the same month reached 15,637 Saudi families.
Last month, the program launched 5 new optional support packages as part of more solutions and options, bringing the total to 9 options for "Sakani" beneficiaries. These included (the support package, the rental package, the furniture package, the self-build package, and the home renovation package). It noted that the various housing support packages can be easily obtained through the "Sakani" website and application, within a list of diverse options, with the aim of facilitating home ownership for citizens in accordance with their needs and financial capabilities.
He pointed out that the packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions, by providing immediate non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-made housing units, under construction and self-build, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities from banks, financing institutions and real estate developers, noting that it comes from “Sakani’s” belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diversifying financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of Saudi families owning their homes.
The “Sakani” website and application provides 119 projects under construction in partnership with real estate developers, including about 155,000 diverse housing units, including villas, apartments and townhouses, most of which are distributed in 7 major residential suburbs in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah and Khamis Mushait, to provide a modern lifestyle in which the quality of housing units is integrated according to international standards with diverse facilities and services that enhance the quality of life for its residents and appropriate prices with an average of 750,000 riyals.
The “Sakani” website and application offers a variety of housing facilities and services, including real estate advisor, issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates for the first home, obtaining price quotes from financing entities, issuing land contracts electronically, benefiting from engineering design services and the “approved contractor”, electronic financing services and the “real estate market”, as well as registration and immediate eligibility, and issuing building permits electronically.
All housing services, options, and financing solutions can be accessed through the linkhttps://sakani.sa, or by calling the unified number for beneficiary care (199090) to answer all questions and inquiries, in addition to the "Sakani" application for smart devices, or by visiting the comprehensive "Sakani" center in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Khobar.
