The Sakani program organized workshops at the headquarters of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Makkah, to introduce the housing solutions and services that the program provides to Saudi families with the aim of improving the ability to afford housing costs in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.
The workshops come as an extension of the role played by the program, represented by the Institutional Housing Department, to overcome obstacles and provide facilities and services to employees of various government sectors, enabling them to own their first home through several options and solutions. The partnership with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to serve its employees is one of the program’s many partnerships.
The workshops reviewed ways to obtain the best financing recommendations and real estate solutions for employees of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and introduced real estate financing and the new support packages on the "Sakani" website and application. The workshops, which were held during the period from February 27 to March 1, 2023, provided answers to the questions of "Hajj and Umrah" employees who wish to own their first home, and introduced all the "Sakani" options and solutions that vary between "ready units from the market", "units in projects under construction", the "self-build" option, "residential lands", and residential projects within private sector lands, in addition to the various housing support packages, and the mechanism for obtaining financing.
It is worth mentioning that the Sakani program organizes these workshops in cooperation with several government agencies and the private sector, with the aim of reaching all targeted segments in various sectors, as part of the program’s keenness to play its role within the housing program’s efforts to raise the rate of homeownership among Saudi families.
