Third Sector and Community Participation Agency at the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing has invited individuals interested in benefiting from the "Professional Volunteering" initiative to register. The initiative will be launched during the "Real Estate Future Forum 2024" in collaboration with the National Center for the Development of Nonprofit Sector and the Real Estate Federation Association. The initiative aims to empower nonprofit organizations and individuals to activate professional volunteering in order to have a deeper impact on the social and economic levels and transfer knowledge.

The initiative includes the participation of a select group of senior officials, economic experts, real estate leaders, and representatives from prominent voluntary organizations. The initiative aims to transfer the experiences and expertise of public and private sector leaders to registered beneficiaries, refining their skills and enhancing their experiences across various sectors to support the growth of the nonprofit sector and achieve the targets of Vision 2030.

Professional volunteering is considered one of the prominent levels of voluntary work recognized in the Kingdom. It has a significant impact on various social and economic issues, focusing on enabling nonprofit organizations and individuals to professionally transfer and share best volunteering practices. Voluntary work is classified into three main levels: general volunteering, skilled volunteering, and professional volunteering.

It is worth mentioning that the Professional Volunteering initiative contributes to achieving the goals of the nonprofit sector within Vision 2030, which aims to increase the number of volunteers to approximately one million by 2030.
