The White Land Program announced the issuance of the White Land Fees invoices for the year 1444/1445 AH for the first round of the second phase in Riyadh tomorrow, Monday, August 15, 2022, calling on the owners of the lands concerned to take the initiative to develop their lands or pay within one year from the date of issuance of the decision.

The program explained in a press statement today that the deadline for paying the white land fees is a full year from the date of issuance of the invoices, during which the fee must be paid or the land must be developed by its owners, by completing the construction of residential facilities on it - excluding fencing and the like - in accordance with the building permit issued for the land; this is within the framework of seeking to increase the supply of real estate products and developed lands and reduce monopoly, by incentivizing those obligated to develop their lands during the payment grace period, and to benefit from the support mechanisms provided by the Ministry such as the Off-Plan Sales or Leasing Committee “Wafi”, the Etmam Center, and the Real Estate Development Agency; in order to accelerate the pace of white land development.

The program stressed the importance of payment within the specified period, to avoid the resulting penalty of up to 100% of the fee value, in addition to paying the fees due. Landowners or those obligated to pay can view the fees imposed on them and initiate payment within one year of the issuance of the decision (issuance of invoices) on 8/15/2022 via the electronic portal https://idlelands-services.momah.gov.sa .

It is noted that the White Land Fees Regulations include three implementation phases. The first phase includes undeveloped land with an area of (10) thousand m2 or more, located within the scope determined by the Ministry. The second phase includes developed land with an area of (10) thousand m2 or more, and developed land for one owner with areas of (10) thousand m2 or more in one plan within the specified urban scope. The third phase includes developed land with an area of 5,000 m2 or more, and the total developed land for one owner with areas of 10,000 m2 or more in one city within the scope determined by the Ministry.
