"Sakani" Program recorded the utilization of around 9,000 Saudi families of the supported mortgage options for purchasing "ready" and "under-construction" housing units in January. This is an extension of the efforts of the program to provide diverse housing options and financing solutions to facilitate home ownership for families through easy and immediate electronic procedures via "Sakani" smartphone application.

This figure adds to approximately 19,353 Saudi families, as announced by the program, with 18,890 families having moved into their homes during the past month, benefiting from the various financing solutions and housing options offered by the program. These include the self-build option for those who own residential lands, ready units, ongoing "Sakani" projects, available lands through "Sakani" website and application, and other housing solutions and services aimed at enabling Saudi families to own suitable homes and increasing the homeownership rate to 70% by 2030 in line with the housing program targets - one of the programs of Vision 2030.

"Sakani" program offers the supported mortgage option to its beneficiaries with the goal of enabling Saudi families to own their first homes by choosing one of the under-construction housing units provided by "Sakani" through its website and application within 114 projects offering over 148,000 units under construction at an average price of 700,000 Saudi riyals per unit. Alternatively, families can utilize the supported mortgage to purchase ready units, giving beneficiaries the flexibility to choose locations and designs that suit their needs and preferences. For more details, you can visit the "Sakani" website: [link].

"Sakani" website and application also showcase 223 residential plans offering over 180,000 residential lands distributed across various cities and provinces of the Kingdom, which can be viewed, and the respective contracts can be issued electronically. Users can select "typical designs" and "approved contractors" for self-build beneficiaries, obtain electronic building permits, receive quotations, benefit from real estate advisors, explore the "real estate market," electronic financing, and other services.
