Sakani: Construction and development works in Al-Jawhara residential suburb projects in Jeddah are in progress

Sakani program has revealed progress in construction and development works in residential projects located in the Al-Jawhara residential suburb in Jeddah. The completion rate has exceeded 99% in the Al-Jawhara residential project, which includes 990 residential units, while reaching 84% in the Buvardia City project, offering 2606 residential units. Additionally, the completion rate has risen to 55% in Venan project, comprising more than 1350 residential units, along with the Belar project providing 618 residential units.

The Suburb offers thousands of residential units constructed using modern building technologies like Insulated Precast Systems (IPS), with various sizes and high-quality diverse designs to meet the needs of Saudi families at affordable prices and convenient monthly installments.

Al-Jawhara is distinguished by its strategic location in the vibrant northern part of Jeddah on Al Haramain Highway, facing King Abdullah Sports City, approximately 5 minutes from the Madinah Highway, about 15 minutes from King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah Corniche. It spans an area of nearly two million square meters, with a population capacity of about 35,000 residents. The suburb includes green spaces and a promenade along the project road, adorned by the facades of restaurants, cafes, and commercial buildings, amidst a modern environment with integrated services and facilities. The suburb features commercial facilities covering an area of about 194,000 square meters, gardens, and open spaces exceeding 110,000 square meters. It also provides a security center, two healthcare centers, schools, kindergartens, and mosques over an area exceeding 150,000 square meters.

Sakani program is dedicated to continuously progressing in residential projects being implemented under the supervision of Wafi map-based sales or leasing program in various regions according to specified timelines, aiming to enable Saudi families to own their first homes in alignment with the targets of the Housing Program - one of Vision 2030 programs - to achieve a homeownership rate of 70%.

This is part of the program's ongoing efforts to facilitate Saudi families in owning their homes through easy electronic procedures, immediate eligibility, and housing options tailored to their needs in collaboration with the private sector.

It is worth noting that the large residential suburbs launched by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing through Sakani program serve as a pioneering model for real estate development in the Kingdom. MOMAH has planned and developed residential suburb lands for implementation in partnership with private sector real estate developers to provide thousands of residential units in prime locations within major cities as a first phase, with a modern housing concept that meets the needs and aspirations of Saudi families, incorporating all necessary educational, healthcare, and commercial facilities alongside green spaces, sports centers, and recreational amenities to enhance quality of life.
