The Sakani program, through its electronic application, issued 15,113 electronic contracts for free residential land to Saudi families benefiting from the program since the beginning of 2022 until the end of last July, in preparation for the beneficiaries to start construction work. This issuance comes within the housing options and diverse financing solutions provided by the program to facilitate first home ownership, with the aim of raising the percentage of Saudi families owning homes to 70% by the year 2030 in line with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.

“Sakani” explained in a press statement today that the land contracts included 3803 lands in the Makkah region, 3241 lands in the Riyadh region, 2396 lands in the Eastern region, 1145 lands in the Qassim region, 1102 lands in the Najran region, 932 lands in the Jazan region, 842 lands in the Asir region, 649 lands in the Hail region, 478 lands in the Madinah region, 142 lands in the Northern Borders region, 191 lands in the Baha region, 106 lands in the Al-Jawf region, in addition to 86 lands in the Tabuk region.

The program indicated that this number comes as an extension of what was previously issued in electronic contracts for lands within the plans made available by the “Sakani” website and application for families benefiting from housing support in all cities and regions of the Kingdom, through easy electronic procedures, explaining that the procedures for booking and inspecting land sites and plans can be completed through the program’s website https://sakani.sa .

“Sakani” confirmed the continuation of delivering residential lands to beneficiary citizens in all schemes listed on the electronic portal, and working to deliver services to them in cooperation with relevant authorities, and the housing sector’s continued achievement of its goals by supporting Saudi families and enabling them to own or benefit from their first home.

“Sakani” provides new optional support packages within its solutions and options offered to Saudi families, bringing the number of housing and financing options to 9. The new packages include (the support package, the rental package, the furniture package, the self-build package, and the home renovation package). These packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions, by providing immediate non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-made housing units, under construction, and self-build, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities from banks, financing institutions, and real estate developers. He pointed out that this comes from “Sakani’s” belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diversifying financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of Saudi families owning their homes.
