To promote compliance with municipal requirements

The Ministry of Municipality and Housing enables business owners to self-assess their establishments through the Baladi platform.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing launched a self-assessment service for commercial establishments through the Baladi platform, to enhance the compliance of establishment owners with municipal requirements and to confirm the reliability of their services to their customers, as they can obtain a certificate of completion of the assessment after completing it, and display it in the commercial establishment optionally, within the framework of keenness to support the business sector.

The ministry explained in a press statement today that it seeks, through this service, to contribute to raising the rate of compliance with municipal requirements in order to avoid violations, by raising awareness among business owners about the municipal requirements specific to their activities and informing them of the challenges and overcoming obstacles.

The self-assessment service for commercial establishments is the first service launched by the Ministry's self-assessment services, which will include various types of municipal oversight, such as: (oversight of commercial licenses, building oversight, excavation oversight, and oversight of individual housing). Details of the service can be viewed through the link https://balady.gov.sa/ar/products/%D8%AE%D8%AF%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%82%D9%8A%D9%8A%D9%85-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B0%D8%A7%D8%AA%D9%8A .

This service is part of a series of electronic services launched by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing through the "Baladi" platform to empower the business sector and raise the level of services it provides. Recently, the "Quick Response ( QR ) code " service was launched through the "Your Opinion Matters" sticker, which is highlighted and displayed on the facade of establishments. This allows business owners to update their establishments' data and add many attractive information to their customers. It also allows measuring the extent of customer satisfaction with the services provided by enabling them to evaluate the quality of services by scanning the QR code, which contributes to achieving effective communication with customers and raising the quality of services provided.
