The Ministry of Municipality and Housing will launch a guide to infrastructure project procedures in the municipal sector during the Transformation Forum next Thursday.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing is organizing the Transformation Forum in Infrastructure Project Management ( PDM ), on Thursday, February 16, in the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Hall at the Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.

The forum will be accompanied by the launch of a guide to infrastructure projects procedures in the municipal sector, through which the ministry seeks to make an ambitious shift towards excellence and enhance integration to achieve leadership in managing infrastructure projects in Saudi cities, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by having three Saudi cities reach advanced ranks among global cities.

The event will include four dialogue sessions. The first session will discuss the role of project management guidelines in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The second session will focus on the studies and designs phase, the third on the tendering phase, and the final dialogue session will be on the construction phase. Those interested from among the owners of establishments, contracting companies, and project management can register through the link.

The forum will also be accompanied by an exhibition that focuses on introducing the most important elements and procedures of the procedural guide, in which the Ministry participates through the Projects and Public Health Agency, in addition to the Digital Transformation Agency, the Urban Planning Agency with its UMAP and Studio sections, the City Operators Agency, and Internal Audit, in addition to the participation of the municipalities of (Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, the Holy Capital, and Medina).

The Saudi Council of Engineers, the Saudi Contractors Authority, and the Project Management Institute ( PMI) will also participate , in addition to a number of international consulting firms in the field of infrastructure, construction and building, and technology companies specializing in infrastructure services.
