Launching Namaa Program to Train Recent Graduates in Municipality and Housing Sectors

The Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing has launched "Namaa" Program to develop a number of male and female graduates in the "Municipal" and "Housing" sectors, aiming to train and qualify them for work and provide them with the opportunity to actively engage in job tasks and responsibilities.

The Program aims to train graduates in the fields of urban planning and improvement, housing and real estate development, licenses and compliance for a period of 6 months. Trainees will be assigned tasks and responsibilities and will work on existing projects under the supervision of experts and officials in the Ministry. Namaa targets several scientific disciplines, including urban planning engineering, surveying engineering, architecture, civil engineering, information technology, economics, data analysis, business management, marketing, project management, and customer services. Graduates will participate in specialized training programs such as project management, effective communication and influence, design thinking, and data analysis.

Through the urban planning and improvement track, MOMRAH aims to achieve urban sustainability in Saudi cities, improve the quality of life, and enhance visual appeal. Through the housing and real estate development track, MOMRAH aims to provide housing solutions for Saudi families and enhance the efficiency of the real estate development sector. Additionally, through the licenses and compliance track, the Ministry aims to regulate licensing activities and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of regulatory processes.

Program beneficiaries will receive several benefits, including participation in diverse training programs in an attractive and stimulating work environment, the opportunity to work under the supervision of experts in various specialized fields in the municipal and housing sectors, and a monthly stipend.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, represented by the Organizational Development and Human Resources Agency, is working on developing national competencies in the municipal and housing sectors. It adopts several training programs and initiatives, including the Executive Training Program for Leadership Development in collaboration with "Harvard Business School" to qualify executive leaders in the housing and municipal system.
