Developers Services Center "Etmam" announced the approval of over 1,250 masterplans covering an area exceeding 24 million square meters, as well as the approval of designs for more than 65,000 residential units on land owned by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing during 2024. This comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to expedite and facilitate licensing procedures for real estate development projects, support real estate developers, increase housing supply, and enhance the investment environment in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

In a press statement issued today, Etmam revealed that it provided more than 6,841 services to real estate developers during 2024. These included support in obtaining approvals for masterplans and construction permits, issuing developer qualification certificates, and approving residential unit designs for the implementation of over 100 housing projects over the past year.

The Center also highlighted its efforts to support real estate developers, noting that it contributed to the qualification of more than 2,448 developers and processed 181 applications for infrastructure approvals. Additionally, Etmam implemented an innovative mechanism to expedite the resolution of challenges by handling over 100 operational issues through its operations room, and provided support for more than 140 white land requests, covering an area of over 13 million square meters.

The Developers Services Center continues its efforts to empower the real estate development sector by offering clearly defined services through a digital platform that allows developers to track their applications and complete service procedures. The Center has also introduced a number of electronic services to improve the customer experience.
