The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing concluded its participation in the third Qatar Real Estate Forum, which was held in Doha under the slogan “Real Estate of the Future”, which comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to enhance regional cooperation and exchange experiences with Gulf and Arab real estate entities, in a way that contributes to developing a sustainable real estate environment that supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Ministry’s pavilion witnessed visits from a number of senior officials in the State of Qatar, in addition to the presence of officials who participated in the forum from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Arab countries, where visitors were briefed on the services and initiatives presented by the pavilion, including the digital and regulatory empowerment of the Saudi real estate sector.
The ministry also presented to visitors the Kingdom’s experiences in digital transformation in the real estate sector, including initiatives to empower the sector and unify regulatory systems that link the owner, developer, service providers and facilities management, in addition to highlighting the efforts made in developing the sector’s infrastructure and enhancing efficiency and transparency in the real estate market.
The pavilion highlighted the ministry’s role in building an integrated real estate system that supports quality of life, through initiatives designed to meet the needs of the new generation and support innovation in real estate systems, in addition to showcasing the use of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and smart contracts to increase transparency and reduce the time required for procedures.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, participated in a ministerial session within the forum entitled “The Real Estate Sector’s Roadmap Towards Achieving Vision 2030”, alongside His Excellency the Qatari Minister of Municipality, Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, during which His Excellency reviewed the Kingdom’s experience in building a real estate market based on partnership, innovation and digital transformation.
