The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continues its efforts to enable investors to benefit from the opportunities available in various cities and governorates of the Kingdom, through the “Opportunities” portal, which is one of the leading digital initiatives in the municipal sector system, under the slogan “Opportunities in your city”.
The portal aims to maximize the benefit from government assets and increase the efficiency of their use, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Programs, by enabling investors to directly access the opportunities offered and submit bids electronically in a transparent and easy manner.
The opportunities offered through the portal cover a wide range of investment sectors in the Kingdom, including agricultural and animal activities, industrial, commercial, educational, environmental, financial, public services, health, maintenance and installation, public utilities, sports, entertainment and tourism activities, transportation and vehicles, construction and real estate management, and social activities, in addition to quality projects such as water towers, ports and national parks. This diversity reflects the keenness to enhance the attractiveness of Saudi cities and achieve balanced urban and economic development.
The portal also provides a range of services that make it easier for investors to explore opportunities, submit and follow up on applications through integrated digital steps, with the ability to view ongoing contracts and competitions, and to search smartly for opportunities according to location, activity and type of investment, up to the point of signing contracts electronically.
The "Fursah" platform provides a smart digital interface that accelerates investment procedures and stimulates the growth of high-quality projects. It also enhances confidence in the viability of investing in municipal assets and attracts new partners from the private sector and local communities to the market. Furthermore, the platform highlights the competitive advantages offered by the Ministry and showcases its efforts to activate municipal assets in a way that achieves sustainable development and improves the quality of life in Saudi cities.
The portal plays a pivotal role in supporting partnerships with the private sector by presenting viable investment opportunities that contribute to diversifying income sources and creating a more attractive and integrated urban environment, while showcasing successful investment projects that have been implemented on the ground.
