The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Second Airports Cluster sign a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the fields of real estate development and investment.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the Second Airports Cluster, as part of the activities of the “Cityscape Global 2025” exhibition, which is being hosted by the city of Riyadh during the period from November 17 to 20, with broad local and international participation in the real estate and housing development sector.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing was represented in signing the agreement by the Undersecretary for Housing Supply and Real Estate Development, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Tawil, while the Second Airports Group was represented by its CEO, Ali bin Mohammed Masrahi.

The memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Second Airports Cluster in the areas of real estate development and investment, through the exchange of experiences and information and the sharing of statistical studies, which contributes to raising the quality of planning and development in the real estate projects belonging to the cluster, and achieving integration between government efforts in supporting the investment environment.

The memorandum includes cooperation in supporting the real estate development journey of projects belonging to the Second Airports Cluster, providing technical advice and support in presenting investment opportunities to real estate developers and investment funds, in addition to enhancing the benefit from the real estate stimulus initiative to reach the largest number of investors and parties interested in projects located within the scope of the cluster.

The memorandum also includes organizing workshops and introductory seminars to attract investors and real estate developers, exchanging views on the challenges and opportunities in the real estate market, in addition to holding periodic meetings to present improvement proposals and exchange experiences to develop real estate projects and raise the efficiency of investment in the assets belonging to the airport cluster.

The signing of this memorandum comes within the framework of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with vital sectors, support sustainable urban and investment development, and achieve integration between national initiatives in a way that contributes to the development of Saudi cities and raises their investment attractiveness in accordance with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
