The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed a joint memorandum of understanding with Almana Hospitals Group, as part of the activities of the "Cityscape Global 2025" exhibition, which is being hosted by the city of Riyadh during the period from November 17 to 20, with broad local and international participation in the real estate development and housing sector..
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and Almana Hospitals Group in enabling investment and commercial opportunities and developing quality projects with a health and urban dimension, through investing in available lands and sites in a way that contributes to improving the quality of life and promoting sustainable urban development in various regions of the Kingdom..
The memorandum includes enabling Almana Hospitals Group to review the investment opportunities available at the Ministry, study the economic feasibility of the proposed sites and evaluate their optimal use, in preparation for making appropriate investment decisions in coordination with relevant authorities, in order to achieve integration between the health and urban sectors in serving the population and society..
The memorandum also stipulated cooperation in developing health and service projects within the real estate development system, and creating integrated urban environments that include medical and community facilities that contribute to raising the quality of health services in new neighborhoods and cities, in addition to encouraging private sector investments in municipal projects that support public health and quality of life..
The signing of this memorandum comes as an extension of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's efforts to stimulate partnerships with the private sector to develop municipal and health services, and to enhance health sector investments in major development projects, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build more sustainable and humane cities and achieve integration between the public and private sectors to serve the community..
