Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed today a joint memorandum of understanding with the Integrated Mosques Company, within the activities of the “Cityscape Global 2025” exhibition in Riyadh, which is being held from November 17 to 20 with broad local and international participation in the real estate and housing development sector..
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in areas of common work through the exchange of experiences and knowledge in accordance with regulations and instructions, and to explore opportunities for cooperation and projects that contribute to the development of services related to public facilities and mosques..
Areas of cooperation also include studying the transfer and application of sustainability practices in public facilities, including the use of treated water in landscaping, researching financial sustainability solutions for mosques overseen by the Integrated Mosques Company, studying and applying practices to improve the urban landscape and address visual pollution in public facilities, and developing model designs for community mosques and mortuaries to enhance efficiency and the quality of services provided..
The signing of the memorandum comes within the framework of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with the non-profit sector and relevant entities and improve municipal services through innovative solutions that contribute to raising the quality of life in the Kingdom’s cities.
