The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing showcased the housing system's efforts to empower families to access diverse housing and financing solutions, under the slogan "Solutions and Options for Ownership." This took place on the sidelines of the Cityscape Global exhibition held in Mulham, north of Riyadh, which concludes today, Thursday. The Ministry's participation highlights the system's role in facilitating the homeownership journey and promoting housing stability, in line with the significant support provided by the wise government to the housing sector and the development of the urban landscape in various cities across the Kingdom..
The ministry emphasized its pivotal role in leading the housing system and unifying efforts towards creating an integrated residential environment that meets the aspirations of families and supports their stability, through enacting and updating legislation regulating housing support and financing programs, starting from defining eligibility criteria to governing financing products and protecting the interests of beneficiaries in a way that raises the efficiency of support and reduces credit risks..
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing explained that the housing system works in an integrated manner among its affiliated entities to provide comprehensive solutions that link development, regulation, and financing, thus contributing to facilitating the beneficiaries' journey and enabling them to obtain suitable housing within an integrated service environment..
Digital solutions have facilitated the homeownership journey for citizens through the "Sakani" application, which serves as the unified interface for the system. This enables everyone to view residential projects, reserve units, and complete ownership procedures electronically with ease and convenience.(NHC)Developing residential projects under construction according to high quality standards and urban integration that reflects the development of the residential sector in the Kingdom.
The ministry explained that the Real Estate Development Fund offers diverse financing solutions and effective partnerships with financing entities to enable families to obtain suitable housing, and that the General Authority for Real Estate contributes to regulating the market, raising the level of confidence in projects, and enhancing the reassurance of investors and beneficiaries..
She pointed out that these efforts highlight the integration of the housing system in supporting the homeownership journey and expanding housing options for citizens, within the framework of achieving the goal of raising the homeownership rate to 70% in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and in a way that enhances the Kingdom's position as a leading destination in developing housing projects and achieving comprehensive urban development..
