In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and His Excellency the President of the Royal Guard, Lieutenant General Suhail bin Saqr Al-Mutairi, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Presidency of the Royal Guard signed a memorandum of understanding in Riyadh, as part of the government integration efforts aimed at developing housing services and enhancing the quality of life, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The memorandum aims to expand cooperation between the two sides in the areas of housing programs and supporting services, through joint work on implementing quality initiatives that serve the staff of the Royal Guard Presidency, and benefiting from the housing solutions and products offered by the Ministry through its various platforms and channels.
Areas of cooperation include preparing joint action plans, providing housing support services and programs, making efforts to provide suitable offers from the private sector, in addition to coordinating with relevant authorities to explore the possibility of providing land, and organizing awareness campaigns and events that contribute to raising awareness of housing products and mechanisms for benefiting from them, in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks.
The memorandum emphasized that this cooperation comes within the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to build effective partnerships with government agencies, which enhances institutional integration, raises the efficiency of services provided, contributes to achieving housing stability and sustainability, and creates a tangible developmental impact that positively reflects on society.
