Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: Launching more than 108,000 housing units and issuing sales licenses for more than 97,000 units during 2025

During 2025, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continued to achieve qualitative accomplishments in the housing sector, contributing to increasing the housing supply, enhancing housing stability for Saudi families, and raising the efficiency of the real estate market, within an integrated system based on developing the housing supply, expanding financing solutions, and strengthening the regulatory and legislative environment, in order to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030in raising the rate of homeownership and improving the quality of life.

The ministry explained that its efforts to stimulate the housing supply and real estate development resulted in the launch of more than 108,000 housing unitswithin the off-plan sales product, in addition to issuing sales licenses for more than 97,000 housing units, reflecting the maturity of the regulatory environment, the high efficiency of development tools, the strengthening of the reliability of the real estate market, and the stimulation of private sector participation in increasing the housing supply.

Regarding beneficiary empowerment and housing support, more than 18,000 housing units were deliveredto beneficiaries, within integrated support tracks aimed at enabling Saudi families to own homes, enhancing housing stability, and achieving a balance between supply and demand in various regions of the Kingdom. .

The efforts also included offering more than 12,000 plots of landthrough the “Sakani” platform, which contributes to expanding ownership options, supporting urban planning and raising the efficiency of land use within urban areas in line with population growth.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing affirmed that these achievements are an extension of its strategy to raise the efficiency of the housing supply, enhance financing solutions, and develop systems and legislationthat support the sustainability of the housing sector. It noted that the Ministry is continuously working to strengthen partnerships with the private and non-profit sectors, accelerate the pace of implementation, and achieve a sustainable economic and social impact that contributes to raising the rate of homeownershipand achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
