During 2025, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing achieved qualitative accomplishments in the areas of beneficiary empowerment and housing support, and in strengthening the role of the non-profit sector. These achievements contributed to expanding the scope of social impact, enhancing housing stability for Saudi families, and achieving integration between the support and empowerment system, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in building a vibrant society and a sustainable quality of life.

The ministry explained that “housing support” resulted in the signing of more than 99,000 contracts for Saudi families, within an integrated system aimed at enabling citizens to own suitable housing, enhancing family stability, and raising the efficiency of directing support to eligible groups.

As part of supporting housing stability for the most needy groups, more than 38,000 cases were supported within the housing rental support program, which contributes to easing financial burdens, achieving social balance, and ensuring the continuity of housing for beneficiaries in accordance with regulatory standards that ensure fairness and sustainability.

In terms of enhancing the quality of services and governance, the Ministry carried out more than 15,000 inspection tours to verify the optimal use of the housing units that were owned by the beneficiaries, which enhances the efficiency of support management, ensures that it reaches those who deserve it, and raises the level of compliance with the approved requirements.

The Ministry also continued to empower the non-profit sector as an active development partner in the housing system, as 81 non-profit organizations were empowered and established under the supervision of the Ministry, which enhances their readiness and ability to implement housing and development initiatives, in addition to launching the “Jood Endowment Fund” to increase the contribution of the private and non-profit sectors in the housing sector, and launching the “Jood Business” initiative to develop the performance of the non-profit sector and enable associations to achieve a sustainable development impact.

In the same context, more than 342,000 volunteer opportunities were implemented within the volunteering tracks in the municipal and residential sectors, which contributed to supporting community initiatives, promoting a culture of participation, and improving the urban landscape, reflecting the integration of roles between government agencies and society.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing affirmed that these achievements embody its strategic direction of empowering people before places, maximizing the social impact of the housing system, and strengthening community partnerships, which contributes to raising the rate of homeownership, achieving stability, and building more vibrant and sustainable cities and communities, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
