His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Housing Development Foundation “Sakan”, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqil, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – on the occasion of the launch of the “Generosity is from us and within us” campaign with two generous donations totaling 150 million riyals through the “Jood Housing” platform, in support of deserving families in various regions of the Kingdom.
His Excellency affirmed that this generous support embodies the keenness of the wise leadership – may God support it – to empower people and enhance housing stability, as it is a fundamental pillar of quality of life, noting that what the leadership provides represents a national example of giving, and reflects a firm belief that development begins with the family, and that providing suitable housing is the basis for stability and growth.
Al-Haqil noted the positive impact of previous donations in supporting developmental housing goals and enhancing the role of the "Jood Housing" platform as a reliable national platform that contributes to motivating individuals and institutions in society to actively participate in charitable and developmental work, reflecting a bright image of community solidarity in the Kingdom.
He added that the qualitative contribution to the “Generosity is from us and within us” campaign will, God willing, represent a strong boost to continue achieving the goals of the “Sakan” Foundation, and to enable more families to obtain decent housing, which enhances social stability and supports the goals of comprehensive development.
His Excellency concluded his statement by praying that God reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince with the best reward for their continuous support for everything that serves the nation and the citizen, and consolidates the values of giving and solidarity in Saudi society.
