The fourth edition of the International Exhibition for the Non-Profit Sector ( IENA 26 ) kicked off today in Riyadh, with the support and strategic partnership of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, and with the participation of more than 100 local and international entities from government agencies, civil, endowment and professional institutions, in addition to academic and service entities.

This year’s exhibition comes after it received accreditation from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry ( UFI ) and was included among specialized international events, which enhances the Kingdom’s position as a center supporting the development of the non-profit sector and raising its developmental and economic contribution in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Over three days, the exhibition will feature more than 40 local and international speakers and experts discussing the future of the non-profit sector, opportunities for financial sustainability, strengthening development partnerships, social innovation, and the sector’s role in the development of cities and communities.

The exhibition included the launch of "Ena Non-Profit Sector Company" as a limited liability company, in a step aimed at enhancing the financial sustainability of the sector, and expanding investment opportunities and development partnerships for non-profit entities.

Concurrently with the exhibition, the "Non-Profit Sector Forum for Municipalities and Housing" was launched as part of its activities. The forum showcases the Ministry's efforts to empower the third sector and enhance its integration with the municipal and housing work system through initiatives and partnerships that contribute to raising the community impact and stimulating developmental participation in cities and urban communities.

The forum witnessed the presentation of specialized working papers and dialogue sessions, in addition to reviewing successful models and experiences of a number of non-profit organizations, including the “Sakan” and “Ikram” charitable foundations, and the “Kiswat Farah” and “Tarmeem for Development” associations, reflecting the diversity of community initiatives and their role in supporting sustainable urban and social development.
