"Sakani" announces that 14,000 families will benefit from the "ready-made" and "under construction" options during 2022

The number of Saudi families benefiting from the two options of subsidized mortgage loans to purchase ready-made and "under construction" housing units within the Sakani program recorded more than 14,000 families during the months of January and February 2022, as an extension of the program’s efforts to diversify housing options and facilitate family ownership through electronic procedures and immediate eligibility via the Sakani smartphone application.
These numbers are part of the 31,000 Saudi families that the program announced as benefiting from the financing solutions and diverse housing options it provides (self-build, ready-made units, under construction, land), to enable Saudi families to own suitable housing with the aim of increasing the ownership rate to 70% by 2030, in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs.
The “Sakani” program offers the option of a subsidized mortgage loan to its beneficiaries with the aim of enabling Saudi families to own their first home by choosing one of the housing units under construction that “Sakani” provides through its website and application within 115 projects that provide about 150,000 housing units, or by taking advantage of the subsidized loan to purchase ready units, which gives beneficiary families the freedom to choose the locations and designs that suit them according to their needs and desires.
The “Sakani” website and application also showcases 223 residential schemes that provide more than 180,000 residential plots distributed across various cities and governorates of the Kingdom. These plots can be viewed and their contracts issued electronically, and users can choose “model designs” and “approved contractors” for self-build beneficiaries, issue building permits electronically, issue price quotes, benefit from the real estate consultant service, the “real estate market”, electronic financing, and other services.
