"Ejar" launches an electronic unit pickup and delivery service
The Ejar program launched an electronic real estate unit handover and receipt service, with the aim of enabling parties to the rental process to prove the condition of the unit when it is received and handed over, through electronic forms that are filled out and approved electronically by the parties to the rental contract on the "Sakani" platform.
The program explained in a press statement today that the real estate unit handover and collection service was introduced to enrich the rental process and protect the rights of its parties, as the service is considered to have added value to the residential rental real estate sector. Its application began on a voluntary basis in the residential sector, and it is being developed to benefit from it in the commercial sector.
Ejar emphasized that such services aim to reduce risks, enhance transparency, contribute to increasing trust between tenants and landlords, promote competition in providing rental services and improve their quality, regulate the rental process, ensure effective governance of its operations, and facilitate and electronically verify rental procedures, resulting in a reduction of disputes between parties involved in the rental process, as disputes over receipt and delivery are among the most prominent claims related to the real estate rental sector.
It is worth noting that the Ejar network has provided many advantages and electronic services, most notably facilitating the mechanism for registering new contracts in easy and flexible steps, documenting contracts electronically directly through the network, and providing various payment channels for rent payments, including: “Mada” and “SADAD”, and topping up balances. It also enabled beneficiaries to pay payments in part, in addition to having strategic partnerships with other entities, the latest of which is linking with the National Water Company, which enables the transfer of the water bill account to the name of the actual user of the rental unit.
