The Developers Services Center “Etmam” held a workshop at the headquarters of the “Eastern Chamber” with the participation of the Ministry of Energy and the Eastern Region Municipality and in the presence of a number of employees of the municipality and municipalities of the centers and governorates of the region. The workshop discussed the electronic link between the Developers Services Center - Etmam - and Saudi Aramco to provide the services of the Ministry of Energy that can be requested through its electronic platform, as an extension of the center’s efforts to raise the level of transparency, support real estate investment and activate partnership between government agencies - in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.
The Director General of the Developers Services Center, Engineer Musaed bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, explained that the workshop addressed the stages and efforts that preceded the electronic link with Saudi Aramco, in cooperation with the Digital Government Authority, with the support of the Minister of Energy, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqil.
Al-Otaibi explained that the linking process aims to enhance transparency in the real estate sector by clarifying the procedures related to services, making all data and statistics available, and accelerating the mechanism for obtaining services easily and with high reliability.
He added that the electronic link with Aramco will facilitate the request for services related to Aramco's land reservations, such as (requesting proof of ownership, inquiring about the land, land planning, implementing the land claims service, reporting encroachments, requesting a government committee, and releasing a land reservation), with the aim of facilitating business and procedures and increasing investments in the real estate sector.
This comes as an extension of the ongoing efforts to activate the partnership between government agencies - in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - which will contribute to raising the levels of transparency, preserving the rights of all parties, including developers, financiers, and government agencies, in addition to facilitating and accelerating the submission of transactions and requests from real estate developers through the “Etmam” platform, increasing real estate investment rates by developing raw land, and unifying work in partnership with all relevant parties.
