His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, received at the Ministry’s headquarters today His Excellency the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea, Mr. Won Hee-ryong, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the Kingdom, Mr. Park Joon-young, and a number of leaders from both ministries.
The two sides reviewed the depth of the relationship between the two countries, its historical extension and its positive impact, especially in the area of city services and infrastructure, and the strengthening of Saudi-South Korean cooperation in the field of smart cities and housing, and ways to develop the housing sector and meet the increasing demand for housing products, in addition to discussing the activation of the executive program between the two countries.
During the meeting, Al-Haqil appreciated the South Korean side’s interest in learning about the Saudi experience in the field of smart cities and housing, hoping that the visit would fulfill the aspirations of the leaders of the two countries and the two friendly peoples, in everything that would support the successes of the two countries in all sectors.
For his part, the South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport expressed his pride in the positive relations between the two friendly countries, wishing these relations further progress and prosperity.
