The program explained in a press statement today that the number of sorting requests is constantly increasing; the number of requests since the program’s establishment has reached more than 34,000, while the number of sorted units has reached more than 230,000 real estate units, with a total area exceeding 73 million square meters. “Unit Sorting” confirmed that its services have contributed to providing diverse options of real estate units for those wishing to own property, by enabling real estate developers to sort properties and real estate complexes into diverse units, to increase the supply of residential or mixed-use residential real estate and make it available to beneficiaries, in line with the efforts of the Housing Program aimed at enhancing the supply of real estate in the market and raising the rate of residential ownership to 70% by 2030.

The program indicated that it continues to work on developing and improving the customer journey and automating processes electronically with several relevant government agencies, such as the Ministry of Justice to issue deeds after the completion of sorting operations, and the Baladi platform to verify building permit data in order to complete sorting operations, in addition to providing a list of engineering offices approved by the program to facilitate the real estate developer’s implementation of sorting requests through the electronic platform, within the framework of enhancing the sustainability of the real estate market and raising its efficiency in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.

It is noted that the system of real estate unit ownership, sorting and management and its executive regulations aims to enhance the role of the real estate unit sorting program in sorting real estate complexes in both their residential and commercial aspects, while ensuring the preservation of the rights of units in the common parts, and identifying those parts, systems and service facilities within the properties and between the properties within the real estate complex.

It is worth mentioning that the program previously launched comprehensive improvements to the premium service, which contributes to reducing the time required for entering data for sorting requests by engineering offices by 70 % in an automated and specialized manner. Also, the technical link with the Baladi platform to verify building permits for sorting requests, which contributes to facilitating the procedures for requests and controlling the quality of data uploaded to the real estate unit sorting platform, indicated that more than 600 building permits were inquired about .
